‘De Indringer' is a theaterplay that is inspired by the eponymous theater piece written by Maurice Maeterlinck. This suspenseful rewrite tells the story of a father who finds himself in an emotional labyrinth after the death of his wife, leaving him unable to break the news to his children and therefor decides to lie about it. Before he knows it he starts to believe his own dishonesty, while he gradually loses grip on reality, becoming a stranger to his own three children. Without the family realizing it, the deadly truth gradually begins to invade the house in the shape of withered ivy and dead leaves.

The Midwinter is a cinematic, theatrical route that takes the viewer past various locations, each telling their own thriller-like stories. During the yearly midwinter evening, people who are stuck between life and death come back to earth to redeem unresolved grief; a mother searches for her lost son, a young girl tries to escape the murder she committed.. In this way they hope to rewrite their past and cross the boarder from this no man’s land to death.
